Have you seen our ‘Summer Holidays and Travel’ information stand in the waiting area? We understand that finding affordable and comprehensive travel insurance when diagnosed with cancer can be difficult. Whilst the team at the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre can not recommend any specific travel insurance company or broker, we have gathered some information to assist your search.
Macmillan Cancer Support’s travel insurance forum is a useful site with up-to-date information from forum members. They also offer a downloadable ‘Travel and cancer’ general information booklet.
MoneyHelper is a separate organisation whose Travel Insurance Directory provides a comprehensive list of Financial Conduct Authority-approved travel insurers.
We recommend you shop around before booking your holiday and ensure all your insurance needs are covered as the cheapest quote may not necessary be the best one for you
