The Cancer Information and Support Service, based at The Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre, provides information about cancer and signposts towards supportive services.
Financial support
Phil Bremner, our Macmillan Welfare and Benefits Adviser, provides free and confidential financial support to patients with a cancer diagnosis and their carers.
Dietary advice
Tessa Aston, our Macmillan Specialist Oncology Dietitian, supports patients to eat well, manage symptoms and maintain quality of life during their cancer journey.
Active Against Cancer
A free health and wellbeing service available to all people living with cancer in the Harrogate district, with exercise at its core.
Emotional and psychological support
Additional support is provided by our clinical psychology service, which is available to anyone with a cancer diagnosis and to family members and carers of patients.
Complementary therapies
We offer a comprehensive range of complementary therapies to people affected by cancer. The service is free of charge and is provided by a fully-qualified professional.
Long-term conditions and cancer
Support is available to those affected by long-term conditions whilst undergoing cancer treatment.

Patient and carer education sessions supporting those who have incurable cancer and who may or may not be receiving treatment.

We offer a range of support services to assist with hair loss, wig fitting and headwear during your cancer treatment.

The Breast Prosthesis Clinic offers a bra-measuring service and provides advice and guidance about purchasing appropriate bras and swimwear.
