Could you have money sitting in a forgotten pension?
It is estimated that, in the UK, over £31 billion is lying in inactive, unclaimed, or lost pension pots. Many people lose track of their pension pots through changing jobs, moving house or changing their name.
If you are unsure if you have any missing pension pots, a good place to start is the Money Saving Expert’s guide to ‘How to find a lost pension’ which gives information to see if you might have a missing pension, how to track one down, as well as guidance on what to do when you find your pension pot.
Detailed information about tracking down a pension can also be found on the MoneyHelper | How to find old or lost pensions page.
