Health support within the community

Support for health needs in the community is met by a range of medical professionals including GPs, community nurses, allied healthcare professionals, social care workers, community pharmacists, care co-ordinators and social prescribers who work in partnership with a wide range of voluntary, charity and community services.

IDAS (Independent Domestic Abuse Services) is the largest specialist charity in Yorkshire supporting people affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence.
