A big thank you to our team of volunteers.
We are so grateful for the work our amazing team of volunteers do every week of the year and we’d like to give them a special shout out during Volunteers’ Week (from 1st – 7th June 2026).
Our volunteers give their time to support the smooth running of the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre. They may have made you a cup of tea when you arrived for your treatment, or perhaps you received a call from them to check how you were feeling.
The work carried out by our volunteers has been recognised the Harrogate and District NHS Trust. One of our volunteers was shortlisted for the 2023 KITE HDFT & HIF Colleague Recognition Awards 2023 and another volunteer actually won the award the previous year!
