Supporting people affected by cancer
Observant visitors to the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre may have spotted Jackie Rowbottom – Macmillan Integrated Personalised Care Programme Lead (Harrogate and Rural District) – who featured in The Harrogate Advertiser last week (September 10th).
Jackie was discussing her work with Harrogate and District Community Action (HADCA), who support and signpost people affected by a cancer diagnosis to find suitable support, as part of their role as Macmillan Community Beacon for the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre.
Support for cancer patients is just one aspect of the work carried out by HADCA, who also signpost anyone in need to a wide range of community support and information both in Harrogate and in the wider district. To find out more. To find out more about the the full range of support offered by the organisation, visit the HADCA website.
