Pancreatic cancer awareness month

Find out more about symptoms, tests and treatment.

Did you know that about 11,500 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the UK each year? As November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to signpost where you can find more information about this form of cancer.

If you are dealing with a pancreatic cancer diagnosis, please visit our colorectal and upper and lower gastrointestinal cancer (GI) page which includes information about tests and treatments for pancreatic cancer. You can also see members of our multidisciplinary team who will be responsible for your care.

Pancreatic cancer often doesn’t cause symptoms in the early stages. The poster below highlights some of the common symptoms to be aware of.

For further information about pancreatic cancer please visit the Macmillan Cancer Support website or Pancreatic Cancer UK.
