Join a monthly in-person support group in Harrogate.
NEXT MEETING: Tuesday 24th June, 11am
Breast Cancer Now is a research and support charity supporting people affected by breast cancer. The charity organises monthly groups enabling people living with a secondary breast cancer diagnosis to meet up with others in a similar situation in their local area.
At the June meeting, Steve Henwood, Lead Physical Trainer for Oncology at Active Against Cancer, will be speaking about the benefits of exercise when living with a cancer diagnosis.
The Harrogate group usually meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month, from 11am until 1/1.30pm. The group is facilitated by a Breast Cancer Now therapist with speakers every two-three months on topics such as side effects, fatigue or clinical trials.
The meetings are held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, King’s Rd, Harrogate, HG1 1XX and the Breast Cancer Now team would kindly ask that anyone who wishes to attend registers with them first. You can do this by:
- calling 0345 077 1893
