A prostate cancer support group for younger men and their families
‘The Dodgy Walnut’, a prostate cancer support group will be holding its next meeting on Wednesday 22nd July 2026, 6.30-8.30pm.
This is a peer support group for younger men and their partners who are living with, or affected by, prostate cancer. There’s no age limit although this group is tailored for those who are either employed or haven’t yet reached pension age. It offers a space where people can offload and talk about issues such as family, finance and relationships.
The group – which is run by John and Emma Newton – will normally meet every fourth Wednesday of the month at the Harrogate Sports and Fitness Club, Hookstone Wood Road, Harrogate, HG2 8PN between 6.30 and 8.30pm.
