Celebrated globally on the third Thursday of May, 2024 marks the 13th Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). The day aims to highlight digital access and inclusion.
Cancer information in a range of accessible formats is provided by Macmillan Cancer Support including access to a broad range of videos with British Sign Language (BSL). They also provide easy read, braille, large print and audio versions of many of their booklets.
Here at the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre, we can provide interpreters if English isn’t your first language and we offer sign language translation for those with hearing impairments.
