Did you know that cervical cancer is the most preventable cancer? Cervical screening can help identify changes in your cervix and the cells, before cervical cancer starts, yet nearly 1 in 3 don’t attend their cervical screening.
To mark Cervical Screening Awareness Week (Monday 15th to Sunday 21st June), Macmillan Cancer Support answers some frequently-asked questions about cervical cancer. The charity also has an online booklet called ‘Understanding cervical screening‘.
