Carers Week – which runs from 8th to 14th June 2026 – is an annual campaign to raise awareness of the 5.8 million carers across the UK and the vital role they play in our communities. It also highlights the challenges unpaid carers face and recognises the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.
This year’s theme – ‘Building Carer Friendly Communities‘ – highlights the impact carer friendly communities can have in making a real and lasting difference to the lives of carers everywhere.
