Help from your local foodbank

How to access foodbank vouchers

If you are struggling to put food on the table the most important step is to get a foodbank voucher. Our Macmillan Benefits Adviser, Phil Bremner, can discuss your situation with you and issue a voucher. Phil can also look at any other means of financial support that could help. This is a free and confidential service.

The foodbank will discuss any dietary needs you may have and exchange your voucher for a parcel of at least three days of emergency food – further vouchers can be issued if the need arises. If you can’t make it to one of the local foodbank venues, they may be able to deliver.

Read more about the Harrogate District Foodbank which has three sites in Harrogate and one in Knaresborough.

Phil can be contacted by calling 01423 557318 or by emailing hdft.benefitsadvice@nhs.net
